Google announced a dedicated business landing page inside the Gemini app on October 20, 2026, consolidating ten connected apps into a single interface where small-business owners are expected to build brand assets, buy ads, and surface themselves in local Search. The post, written for The Keyword by Vishnu Sivaji, senior director for the Gemini app, says owners can use the hub to “build their brand, analyze finances, understand customer insights, and more.”
Three of the ten connected apps are Google’s own: Business Profile, Ads, and Workspace. The other seven are Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho, and Xero. That’s the full stack a founder-led business actually touches, bolted into one assistant.
The visual layer runs on Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s latest image generation model, which per MACCUS is reserved for Google AI Pro, Plus, and Ultra subscribers; free users get Nano Banana 2. The October post doesn’t clarify which model handles brand visuals for free accounts. Google also pitches a finance capability that turns spreadsheets, receipts, and purchase records into graphics and interactive models, though MACCUS notes no worked example has been demonstrated.
The structural read matters more than the feature list. Google is the search listing, the ad auction, and now the assistant that writes the campaign. That compression follows Google’s opt-out AI ad-offer rewrites earlier this month, and the universal cart reshaping product listings a week later. Each step pulls another decision inside the Google surface.
The connection terms are narrow. Business Profile linking requires a personal Google Account, one verified profile, an owner 18 or over, and Keep Activity on; a subset of chats is reviewed by humans. Google’s June rollout of the Business Profile connection shipped with an “Excluding the EEA and UK” footnote. The October post is silent on whether that exclusion has lifted.
Rollout is beginning globally in the coming days. No separate subscription tier is called out. The hub is just there, waiting, inside the app owners already have open.
