LTK rolled out a new AI-powered Search tab in its app on September 25, 2026, folding interest browsing, AI-generated creator and product overviews, and a conversational assistant called LTK AI into a single discovery surface. For small B2C brands whose products are already tagged in creator content, a high-intent channel opened Thursday that they didn’t build and can’t be excluded from.

The Search tab has three modes. Personalized browsing across verticals, AI-generated overviews of creators and products, and a natural-language layer that answers queries like “find me a gift for a runner under $75” by pulling from creator-tagged inventory. Underneath it sits what LTK calls a commerce intelligence graph: 15 years of activity, more than 100 billion signals across creators, consumers, products, brands and transactions, and more than 500,000 vetted creators.

The platform’s own early numbers are aggressive. Product click-outs from search to retailer websites are up 84%. Creator-profile views from search have risen nearly 50%. Daily users of LTK AI have grown 89% month over month. Those are LTK’s figures, measuring LTK’s platform, not independently verified brand outcomes.

Still, the mechanic matters. If a small brand’s products are tagged inside creator content on LTK, they now become answerable inventory for unbranded conversational queries. If they aren’t, a competitor’s are. This is the creator-first discovery shift that quietly surpassed traditional search earlier in 2026, now with an AI layer that rewards prior distribution work.

The competitive backdrop is thickening. eMarketer reported this week that OpenAI is rolling out its own ChatGPT shopping experience with image and constraint-based product search, though just 16.7% of US AI users currently start product searches with an AI assistant, per an EMARKETER/Publicis survey. LTK’s advantage is that it isn’t asking shoppers to change habits; its 40-million-plus monthly audience is already there to buy.

As MarTech put it, product discoverability in 2026 depends less on a brand’s own SEO or paid media and more on whether its products live inside creator content that AI systems can surface. LTK just made that dependency literal, and dated it Thursday.
